Immerse yourself in the timeless beauty of Turkish mosaic craftsmanship. In this guided 2.5-hour workshop at Westfield Chermside, you will carefully design and assemble your own mosaic lamp using traditional techniques. Each glass piece is placed by hand, creating a design that is entirely your own.

Iram - my instructor - was so nice and very helpful. She was checking in on me and teaching me how to do different parts. I loved how it was so hands on and relaxing to organise the beads and tiles. I loved how you had so many different patterns that you could choose from and that you could even design your own.
Such a lovely experience! Our teacher was so friendly and helpful, and explained everything really well without making it feel rushed. I had such a nice afternoon making my lamp and absolutely loved how it turned out. Would definitely come back and do another one!

What a beautiful way to spend a morning. Being creative is something that brings me joy and to do it with people I care about makes it so much more memorable. The store owner was so helpful and patient with us. Would recommend this activity for a fun day out with family or friends.
Deniz, was wonderful! My aunt and I had a lovely time creating our mosaic lamps! The atmosphere was beautiful, Deniz was kind and patient, and brought us amazing hot apple tea! This is a great activity to do with friends/groups/date or even just by yourself and have a conversation with the workers!! Thank you for the amazing experience Deniz!
Had a great time making lamps today. A great choice of colours and patterns, so you could create your own masterpiece. Getting a cup of Turkish coffee and Apple Tea was a lovely touch.
You can choose to leave your lamps behind to be grouted, or take a supply of grout home to do it yourself.
We had Denise as our instructor, and she was very attentive, helpful and patient with us. The setup in-store was so pretty with all the lights, and we loved the Turkish coffee and Turkish delights that were served on the side. We made mosaic candle holders and it was a really pleasant and relaxing experience. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun couples/group activity

I thought this class was beginner friendly. Loads of fun, with a good choice of different tiles and patterns. The girl was friendly, helpful and offered plenty of advice. Turkish coffee and delicious Apple tea while we did our mosaic lamps.made it even more enjoyable. Highly recommended to anyone wanting a fun activity

This was a really wonderful experience. It takes a bit of concentration to get the tiles right, it doesn’t have to be perfect but as our wonderful hosts said “as long as you’re happy!”. The two lovely ladies who ran the class added to the experience and it was the perfect amount of help to letting us do our own thing that I really appreciated. I would highly recommend!
Making your own Turkish style lamp in your desired colours to match your home interior was so much better than buying one in a shop.
We were able to design the pattern ourselves or follow a template and had free creative control. The very friendly teacher was there to assist, teach and make us feel comfortable the whole way through. I definitely recommend this class and can’t wait to pick up the finished piece once it’s been grouted in as few days.

I went with my 13 year old daughter and her friend. We each made a small candle holder. It was a great experience. We loved all the color choices, the designs were simple and instructions easy to follow. We also loved the Turkish coffee and apple tea! Not to mention Turkish delight.
We came here for my 37th birthday and had an amazing time. Irem was so lovely and patient; guiding us through each step with enthusiasm and warmth. Everyone had a fabulous session. Thank you!

Denise was my teacher at chermside store she was over the moon the best teacher I've had with children. My children have adhd and asd they get overwhelmed quick and quit but she kept composure I explained why they were like that and she turned it into a stress free happy zone the music she played was awesome some many different genres the kids were even singing along. I would love to bring my sister and mother to do a lamp. Maybe a birthday package deal for them as their birthdays are all a month apart lol. Now to find the time to get them away from their families lol. Thankyou thankyou thankyou. At first I did think a little expensive but the product the time the the teachers experience its all worth it. out of
