Do I need any experience to join the workshop?
No experience is needed! Our friendly team will guide you step by step.
How long does the workshop take?
Approximately 2–2.5 hours, with time to create your mosaic and enjoy Turkish refreshments.
What is included in the workshop price?
All materials, tools and guidance for your chosen item, plus Turkish tea, apple tea or coffee and Turkish delight. Grouting is an optional extra.
Which lamp styles can I make?
Choose from a mosaic candle holder, table lamp, moon lamp or rechargeable lamp. Check your selected session for available options.
Can I choose my own colours and pattern?
Yes! You’ll choose your colours and pattern on the day to create a piece that suits your style.
Can I upgrade my lamp on the day?
Yes! You can upgrade by paying the price difference, subject to availability.
Can two people make one lamp together?
Yes! A second person can join you to make one item together for an additional $30. If you each book your own item, no sharing fee applies.
Can children join the workshop?
Yes! Children over five years old are welcome to join the class.
Can I take my lamp home on the same day?
Yes! You can take your lamp home and grout it yourself. If you choose our grouting service, leave your lamp with us and we’ll contact you when it’s ready for collection, usually within a couple of days.
What is grouting, and why is it recommended?
Grouting fills the gaps between the glass pieces and gives your mosaic lamp its finished look. We highly recommend it to help secure the pieces, as heat from the bulb may soften the glue.
Is grouting included in the workshop price?
We provide grout free of charge so you can finish your lamp at home. Alternatively, our team can do the grouting for you for an additional $15.
How do I grout my lamp at home?
Wait at least 24 hours after the workshop before grouting to allow the glue to dry. Follow our step-by-step YouTube tutorial for guidance.
When will my lamp be ready for collection?
If you choose our grouting service, your lamp will usually be ready within a couple of days. We’ll contact you when it’s ready to collect.
Can I book a private workshop for a group?
Yes! Contact us with your preferred location, date and group size to arrange a private workshop.

Iram - my instructor - was so nice and very helpful. She was checking in on me and teaching me how to do different parts. I loved how it was so hands on and relaxing to organise the beads and tiles. I loved how you had so many different patterns that you could choose from and that you could even design your own.
Such a lovely experience! Our teacher was so friendly and helpful, and explained everything really well without making it feel rushed. I had such a nice afternoon making my lamp and absolutely loved how it turned out. Would definitely come back and do another one!

You can choose to leave your lamps behind to be grouted, or take a supply of grout home to do it yourself.
We had Denise as our instructor, and she was very attentive, helpful and patient with us. The setup in-store was so pretty with all the lights, and we loved the Turkish coffee and Turkish delights that were served on the side. We made mosaic candle holders and it was a really pleasant and relaxing experience. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun couples/group activity

This was a really wonderful experience. It takes a bit of concentration to get the tiles right, it doesn’t have to be perfect but as our wonderful hosts said “as long as you’re happy!”. The two lovely ladies who ran the class added to the experience and it was the perfect amount of help to letting us do our own thing that I really appreciated. I would highly recommend!
Making your own Turkish style lamp in your desired colours to match your home interior was so much better than buying one in a shop.
We were able to design the pattern ourselves or follow a template and had free creative control. The very friendly teacher was there to assist, teach and make us feel comfortable the whole way through. I definitely recommend this class and can’t wait to pick up the finished piece once it’s been grouted in as few days.

I went with my 13 year old daughter and her friend. We each made a small candle holder. It was a great experience. We loved all the color choices, the designs were simple and instructions easy to follow. We also loved the Turkish coffee and apple tea! Not to mention Turkish delight.
We came here for my 37th birthday and had an amazing time. Irem was so lovely and patient; guiding us through each step with enthusiasm and warmth. Everyone had a fabulous session. Thank you!

Denise was my teacher at chermside store she was over the moon the best teacher I've had with children. My children have adhd and asd they get overwhelmed quick and quit but she kept composure I explained why they were like that and she turned it into a stress free happy zone the music she played was awesome some many different genres the kids were even singing along. I would love to bring my sister and mother to do a lamp. Maybe a birthday package deal for them as their birthdays are all a month apart lol. Now to find the time to get them away from their families lol. Thankyou thankyou thankyou. At first I did think a little expensive but the product the time the the teachers experience its all worth it. out of
